Hi all my names Michelle. Im 32 years old and not getting any younger no matter how often I wish, have been on a diet since I was 14 years old and has ended up with me trying all types of plans, pills and shakes to no avail. Now this is my final chance and its going to be a successful one this time. My weight anxieties have passed onto my 13 year old daughter which was something I never wanted to happen. Now she worries about her figure despite being at an ideal weight for her age and height. I have another 3 children and I am going to make damn sure that they don't follow the same path. I'm going to lead by example.

Hopefully by joining this site I will stay on track, reach my goal and finally realise that chocolate really does not count as a nutritionally healthy breakfast.

Please feel free to add me as a mate or comment, advise or even give me a telling off and a kick up the backside when I slip.

My Goals:
Lose weight for my health

Take my daughters out once a month for clothes shopping

Finally get into my sexy long black dress I have had stuffed away for the past 13 years.

What I've done is set myself a small target to start with so I don't feel overwhelmed and scared by the ampunt of weight I have to lose.

My Program:
Eat breakfast everyday

Track my progress, calories, thoughts and feelings on my spark page everyday....if you guys will put up with

Buy a dance workout dvd and actually learn the steps and not just sit and eye up the male dancers.... ;)

Personal Information:
I'm from sunny Glasgow in Scotland. I have 2 girls and 2 boys. I have been with my long suffering partner for 14 years (I think he's due for parole soon)

I suffer from depression which I think has been brought on by my weight issues. I have been housebound for most of the year as I'm terrified of outside and have lost all confidence in myself.

I have a skin condition called prurigo nodularis. As I have quite dark skin I'm left with hideous scarring all over my body and my arms have got the worst of it. Its hellish come summer because I'm constantly dressed in black and wear long sleeves to hide the scars and as everyone knows black clothes and sun..
I tend to stay indoors each summer and Its something I've always regretted as my kids have never been to the beach. This year I'm hoping to make a real change and treat my kids to a day at the beach for the first time.

Other Information:
I love the simpsons, futureama, south park and family guy.

I buy my paranormal magazines every month without fail as I love all things spiritual and a firm believer in Angels. I'm currently collecting angel figures for my alter.
