Hey everyone. Thanks for stopping by my page. I have had a problem with my weight for so many years. I keep saying that I am going to lose the weight, and think about how I will do it. I always start well but it usually doesn't last very long. Well, now it's time to pick a plan that will work, a lifestyle change and not a diet that I can't stick with for the rest of my life.

I am DONE....being the fat girl!
I am DONE....being unhealthy!
I am DONE....squeezing into seats at theaters or the like!
I am DONE....making excuses!
I am DONE....being out of breath after one flight of stairs!

It is time to start doing and stop saying what I am going to do. I spend too much time on the couch thinking about what I will do, rather than actually doing it. NOT ANYMORE!! A new year is here and I WILL succeed:

My Goals:
What I really want to be able to do is compete in a few triathlons; be able to hike up a mountain w/o feeling like I am going to die;), or even a flight of stairs :D

I also want to be able to go into any store and find a great outfit.

My Program:
Begin by watching what I eat; a food journal works best for me. If I don't write down what I am eating, then I just seem to eat whatever, but writing it down makes me aware, so I make better choices.

Since I want to compete in a triathlon, my workout is geared toward that. What I try to do every week is:

Swimming 2x week.
Bike/cycle class 2x week.
Run 3x week (since this is my weakest area, and I do use the term "run" loosely)
Core/Strength 3x week
