Hi everyone. I am a music teacher who, naturally, loves music..but also reading, gardening, website design, and spending time with my friends and family.
I have quite a bit of weight to lose, but I know the support I receive here will make a great difference!
I've been overweight most of my life, but the majority of my weight has been put on in the past 10 years. It's high time to do something about it, as I can see how the weight holds me back in so many areas of my life.
This time I will succeed. And I will do it the right way..the Spark way...diet and exercise.
Goal #1: To have More Energy!
Goal #2: To enjoy shopping again!
Goal #3: To lose get down to a size 14 by my June Hawaii trip!
Goal #4: To get to my goal weight of 150!
Increased exercise and counting calories/fat.
Lots of water.
I have started back to the gym and my goal is to workout at least 4 days per week, eventually increasing to 5 days.
I'm a piano teacher who LOVES her job!
I have a kind, supportive, sexy husband whom I adore.
I also enjoy gardening, cooking, website design and SparkPeople!

It was so great to hear from you. I am glad you are back. Yes, I am afraid that counting calories and exercise is going to be what you have to do for the rest of your life. I have accepted it. It is not easy, but I guess if I don't count calories and exercise, I might have to trade it in for taking pills or feeling out of shape everyday. I pray your success. Keep in touch. PGIF

Hi Charlotte, I have been thinking about you with your new music studio, etc., how are you? My studio is suffering a bit because of the economy. It has allowed me more time to get in shape during the summer months as I want to reach my goal by Sept. 1st. I hope you are OK!? Stay in touch!
