"The pain of regret is always worse than the pain of discipline." A quote I heard on t.v. from the show called MADE on MTV. I think its a wonderful quote to live by as we start this journey of remaking ourselves and becoming healthier and happier. This will not be the first time I have attempted to travel this road, but each time is a new journey. I think to really fail is to give up and never try again. You always have that potential for success, no matter what your story or situation is. We deserve to love ourselves and have pride in who we are has humans. We are wonderful people no matter what size we are, what nationality, what color skin, or what gender. We must do this for ourselves, not because we think we will be better people for being thinner or that others will accept us more easily. There will always be people who will not understand our inner beauty or how special we are, even if we fit societies standards of beauty. Really look at the people around you. Are they happy? Even the thin, beautiful people? Really look at them. We all have inner demons and if we don't start this process by healing the inside before the outside, our struggle may be much harder and fraught with more obstacles. I look forward to sharing my journey with others and sharing my healing process.
