HELLO WEIGHT LOSS FRIENDS!!

I've struggled with weight fluctuations since junior high. Yet I've always been considered lean majority of my life. I didn't begin to have major issues with my weight until my 11th grade year of high school, that's when I really became inactive. When the "guys" noticed that I packed on a few extra pounds over the summer. Because of my begging , my mom took me to a "weight loss" doctor to help me shed a few pounds. He gave me some weight loss medication, which was nothing but mere water pills ...

I didn't begin to have major issues with my weight until my 11th grade year of high school, that's when I really became inactive. When the "guys" noticed that I packed on a few extra pounds over the summer. Because of my begging , my mom took me to a "weight loss" doctor to help me shed a few pounds. He gave me some weight loss medication, which was nothing but mere water pills ( I found that out later). After two weeks I lost 10 lbs and was loving how thin I was looking. Give or take a few weeks, I managed to gain all the weight back and then some. My Senior year of high school I manged to maintain a pretty decent weight on my own though I was still not quit thin, I wasn't truly overweight either. The trouble didn't really begin until I went off to school. By christmas, I managed to pack on an extra 15 lbs. To make a long story short, through out the years I've lost and gained the same 12 to 15 lbs. Now I'm facing 20 lbs I have to lose!

My Goals:
I want to become more confident in my appearance. I'm currently a size 12, My mini goal is to be in a 10, my ultimate goal is a size 6. I haven't seen that size since 9th or tenth grade....

My Program:
I 'm experimenting with interval training but in the mean time I work out on my DDR. I plan to work out 30 minutes, 5 days a week. I'm currently following the alternate day diet.

Personal Information:
I'm 21 yr old from Michigan.
I'm currently looking for more weight loss buddies!!

Hi there, I want to welcome you to both ADDing teams!
You will get lot's of support and encouragement on both teams...Please visit the forums and post often.
I used to have the same 20 pounds that would creep back up on me after working so hard - and starving myself to lose them.
That was before I found the Alternate-Day Diet! I have kept that 20 pounds off for 2 years now! You can do it to....we will help you to stay on track and focused while doing the ADD.
