Updated goals: This year 2017, is going to be a great year!!! I have some serious goals to attain, and PLAN on accomplishing my weight goal. I realize I must make a lifestyle change with diet and exercise. I may start slow, but will be in full swing by the end of December.

My daily step goal is 11,000 per day, except maybe for Wednesday. I sail every Wednesday and it's difficult to get the extra exercise in.

I KNOW I can do this!!!

We have a near-term goal for August and then the next goal set for September.

I want to lose 30 lbs, and I'm not putting a final date down this time. I have several interim goals.

We will do it!!!!

My Program:
My husband & I are watching our carb intake, trying to stay below 40 grams a day. We started at 20 grams and have slowing worked our way up to 40. On occasion, we will drop down to help with plateauing.

We plan on an occasional "cheat day" to reward us when we've accomplished a goal.

My exercise goal is to burn 400 + calories a day, and to get in at least 30 minutes a day of exercise with one day of rest a week.

I know I can do this and by September of next year (a BIG birthday), I want to be at my goals.

    Hi, I'm Megan, and I live in Calgary, Alberta, in Canada. I'm having a difficult time losing weight in middle age, but I'm determined to get it off while building my health and strength! I have 30 pounds to go!

    I'm a teacher, married 30 years, and have a teenaged son and a crested gecko.

    My favourite mode of exercise is walking and hiking, but both are on hold due to a foot injury, so I'm trying to stay motivated to get on the exercise bike every day. I love weight training, and that is going very well.

    My name is Sandy and I am a teacher from Michigan! This is my first time doing the Biggest Loser Challenge (this one in particular) in a long time but it is my first time on this team. I am excited to be a part of the Scarlet Dragons team with you and everyone else! In the summer I like to garden and swim, though it’s hard to swim in Michigan because it’s so cold (I used to live in Arizona where it was way warmer!) During the summer challenge I would like to become more consistent with my exercise and develop a daily habit for fitness! I look forward to getting to know you over the summer!

I have had a tough time losing weight but the Spring challenge helped me drop a little and I am hoping for more of the same during the Summer challenge.
