Updated goals: Th3 year 2016 is going to be a great year!!! I have some serious goals to attain, I'm heading towards a big birthday this year and PLAN on accomplishing my weight goal. I realize I must make a lifestyle change with diet and exercise. I may start slow, but will be in full swing by the end of January.

I have a FitBit One and these were my 2015 totals, all of which I plan on breaking!!!

Steps: 3,890,098
Miles: 1,6322.22
Floors: 914
Calories: 832,729

My daily step goal is 11,000 per day, except maybe for Wednesday. I sail every Wednesday and it's difficult to get the extra exercise in.

I KNOW I can do this!!!

We have a near-term goal for July and then the next goal set for September.

I want to lose 30 lbs, and I'm not putting a final date down this time. I have several interim goals.

We will do it!!!!

My Goals:
My total weight loss goal is 35 lbs, by Sept. 2016.

Starting weight: 186.5
Starting date: 1/2/16

Mini goals/dates:
Mar 2nd - 177
May 15th - 170
July 4th - 164
Aug 15th - 159
Sept 17th - 155

The reason for these dates are trips and/or company associated with them.

My Program:
My husband & I are watching our carb intake, trying to stay below 40 grams a day. We started at 20 grams and have slowing worked our way up to 40. On occasion, we will drop down to help with plateauing.

We plan on an occasional "cheat day" to reward us when we've accomplished a goal.

My exercise goal is to burn 400 + calories a day, and to get in at least 30 minutes a day of exercise with one day of rest a week.

I know I can do this and by September of next year (a BIG birthday), I want to be at my goals.

Personal Information:
My name is Carol and I live in Florida. I love to sail, play bass guitar in our band, and cruise.

Other Information:
New Year's resolutions:

1. Reach my goal weight
2. Get off my BP medicine
3. Exercise every day
4. Help my Dad get organized.
5. More quality time with Jon - less partying.
6. Increase our savings accounts
7. Practice and improve my bass playing
8. Improve my sailing skills
9. Be a better friend

    Sending some inspiration your way!

Ten reasons to never give up:

    # 1. Nothing is impossible, the word itself says "I'm possible."
    # 2. You are more powerful than you think.
    # 3. It's never too late to re-write your story..
    # 4. Because you are not your past actions.
    # 5. You are worth more than diamonds, and can never be replaced.
    # 6. The little things in life are ment to be treasured.
    # 7. You have your own unique message, and it needs to be heard.
    # 8. There is a rainbow after every storm,
    # 9. True freedom = Letting go of people's opinions about you..
    # 10. Because it feels better to say "I did it." rather than "I gave up."

Hello Spark friend! Stopping by your page to share a little inspiration:

They told her to stay out of the rain. emoticon

But one day she realized if she never danced in the rain, she would miss all of the rainbows.

So she decided to never miss another rainbow again! emoticon

Because life is not about waiting for the storm to pass... emoticon

Life is about learning to dance in the rain! emoticon
