Sailing to my new lifestyle!!

Updated goals: My husband & I started a lo-carb diet this past Monday. We BOTH need to drop some weight and as the lo-carb diet is not my chose, it is the only thing my husband will do.

We have a near-term goal for July and then the next goal set for September.

I want to lose 30 lbs, and I'm not putting a final date down this time. I have several interim goals.

We will do it!!!!

My Goals:
My total weight loss goal is 35 lbs, by Sept. 2016.

Starting weight: 192
Starting date: 6/1/15

Mini goals/dates:
July 4th - 180 (done)
Sept 10th - 175
Oct 10th - 171
Nov. 7th - 169
Dec. 31st - 166
Mar. 1st - 162

The reason for these dates are trips and/or company associated with them.


My Program:
My husband & I are watching our carb intake, trying to stay below 40 grams a day. We started at 20 grams and have slowing worked our way up to 40. On occasion, we will drop down to help with plateauing.

We plan on an occasional "cheat day" to reward us when we've accomplished a goal.

My exercise goal is to burn 400 + calories a day, and to get in at least 30 minutes a day of exercise with one day of rest a week.

I know I can do this and by September of next year (a BIG birthday), I want to be at my goals.
