152 by December 18!!
I decided that I need to set a solid mini goal for myself. As my title says, I want to be 152 by December 18. Why is that date important? Well it is the date that I will be arriving in Guatemala to see my boyfriend and his family (we will not have seen each other for 2 months). I think that this goal is fair, it is based on roughly .5 pound weight loss a week. I am hoping that with the weight, inches will go too! My weight is not so much what bothers me, it is the tone, so really I am here to learn how to take myself forward to being toned and physically fit. I am learning that that is a whole new ballgame. I am so thankful to have found Spark People and to have met the people I have here! Wish me luck! I need some new found motivation for this last 10 pounds! I have lost nearly 70 since September 2007 by using Weight Watchers and joining a gym. It took a lot of hard work and motivation. I have a tendency to be an emotional eater which is a serious disservice to my weight loss efforts, especially in times like now when I am crazy stressed. I am also a mommy to a 2 year old, which makes working out hard to do after a full time job. I am hoping to lose this last little bit and firm up my body at the same time.

My Goals:
I will track my food daily. (Going well so far!) I want to lose another 10% (plus some...) over the next 8 months (-20 lbs). Therefore, on February 27, 2009 I want to weigh a SOLID 140 lbs. When I get back to Guatemala (IN DECEMBER!!!), I want to be much smaller than the 178 I was when I went there in 2008. I love my boyfriend's family, but I can't hear the word "gordita" (chubby) again!
My Program:
Cardio :Jogging 3 or 4 days and Cardio Kickboxing 2 days Run 3-5 miles at least 3 days a week. Strength Training at least 3 days a week. Watch the food and cut out the sweets!
