Hi, my name is Samantha (formerly SRBROWN2). I started Spark People back in April 2011 in hopes of losing about 20 pounds; however, I have been on a bumpy ride since then, and I ended up gaining about 20 more pounds.

In high school, I was petite, and I took my physique for granted. Through college, I ended up gaining almost 50 pounds with the late nights, junk food, and fast food. Those days have led to lack of energy, mood swings, and sleepless nights.

My main goal is to become healthy. I want to drink water, eat healthy, and exercise daily. In the process, I hope to lose between 30-40 pounds. In addition, I want to gain confidence and love my body.
