My main goal is to be happy, healthy, strong and as alive as I can be.
I don't have a specific program. I think about and watch what I eat. I do lots of different things to get my exercise. Running and hiking are the biggies. I also love biking, camping and kayaking. Winter is time for snow shoes and XC skis.

Wow, I just noticed that you are running Steamtown. The starting line is Forest City, the town where my parents were born. I attended the high school there the first year it opened (1961-62). My family life was in flux and I lived with my grandmother briefly before returning to NYC.
After you run down the hill from the HS you will pass a little white church (St John's) on the corner of Maxey St and Susquehanna. My parents were married there in 1943.
It's a great race. My DD#2 did it back in 1999. I was able to see her several times on the course since I knew all the back roads.

How are you doing? Have you reached your goal? I'm still on this roller coaster. One day I do really well, then mess it up the next. I don't have a problem with fitness, it's the food I have a hard time dealing with, I LOVE TO EAT!! Lol. Why does everything have to taste so good??????????????
