My main goal is to be happy, healthy, strong and as alive as I can be.

My Program:
I don't have a specific program. I think about and watch what I eat. I do lots of different things to get my exercise. Running and hiking are the biggies. I also love biking, camping and kayaking.

9/13 First Half-Marathon,
13 point freakin 1 = 2:29:41 PR

9/12 5k PR = 27:00 (better then I ever thought I could do)

11/11 10k PR = 61:31 (would like to get under 60)

Thanks so much for your comments on my 12.5 mile blog. Yep, I need a better system of carrying water, that's for sure. Either a bigger bottle or several bottles. The dam area where I run does not have the drinking fountains turned on yet and I forgot to pack more water in the car (was in a hurry getting out). As for fuel--I tired Gummy Bears, but I found chewing too hard to do while trying to breathe! The GU just sorts of slips down (but that cherry stuff sure didn't lol). Thanks again for your comments--really appreciated the info ;-).
