My main goal is to be happy, healthy, strong and as alive as I can be.

My Program:
I don't have a specific program. I think about and watch what I eat. I do lots of different things to get my exercise. Running and hiking are the biggies. I also love biking, camping and kayaking.

9/13 First Half-Marathon,
13 point freakin 1 = 2:29:41 PR

9/12 5k PR = 27:00 (better then I ever thought I could do)

11/11 10k PR = 61:31 (would like to get under 60)

thank you for the kudos on my bike ride... I had alot of mental blocks about doing it but since i had a tri in a week, i figured i had better quit procrastinating.

i havent ridden my bike since the 70.3. i had it in the shop for some repairs from race abuse and then i just moth balled it. this spring wasnt very good for riding.. winter just hung on.. then there was the not wanting to see how badly I had gone backwards over the winter train of thought... overall i surprised myself... and that is kinda tough to do :)

Hi and in answer to your question about training--yes, I'm in training now for a half-marathon. I'm looking at 3--all in September: Mill Race in Indy, Erie Half-Marathon in PA and the AF Half in OH. I ran the AF half in '06 while on active duty and it was horrible, lol. I'd like to run it again to redeem myself, but they're sold out. I have a friend who may not be able to run, however, so we could possibly do a transfer. Regardless, the training is good either way...it gets me out and exercising ;-).
