My main goal is to be happy, healthy, strong and as alive as I can be.

My Program:
I don't have a specific program. I think about and watch what I eat. I do lots of different things to get my exercise. Running and hiking are the biggies. I also love biking, camping and kayaking.

9/13 First Half-Marathon,
13 point freakin 1 = 2:29:41 PR

9/12 5k PR = 27:00 (better then I ever thought I could do)

11/11 10k PR = 61:31 (would like to get under 60)

I could not agree with you more... Our attitude makes a HUGE difference. There are a whole lot of things that I cannot change. When I remember that, I have a lot more peace and am able to have a positive outlook. Thanks for the post & comments from yesterday. Happy Monday to you!

I like that idea. We could set up a thread in one of the running groups and post our progress. That way it is all in one place. I did this for my first HM with Smitty, but I was the only poster, although there were other contributors, like you.

Happy emoticon Valentine's Day emoticon . I hope it's a good weekend for you.

Yesterday was my first training day for my HM on May 3rd! It's time to get down to business. My first 5 weeks will be more fitness related, so I can drop 7 lbs to a new racing weight. I will get a speed and tempo run in each week, LSRs will be very easy.
