Hello and welcome to my page. I started out here on SP weighing 210 in September 2011. I wanted to lose 60 in a year. Well I lost 20 pounds by the end of 2011 with adding exercising and eating more fruit and vegetables and eating way less fast food and junk food.

I am married to a very supportive man who is also losing weight and with his help I think I can do this. I love to cook and he inspires me to make low cal meals.

Hello and welcome to my page. I started out here on SP weighing 210 in September 2011. I wanted to lose 60 in a year. Well I lost 20 pounds by the end of 2011 with adding exercising and eating more fruit and vegetables and eating way less fast food and junk food.

I am married to a very supportive man who is also losing weight and with his help I think I can do this. I love to cook and he inspires me to make low cal meals.

I challenge myself to make better choices to become stronger healthier and a better person. I find that pushing myself to be healthier every day is practical. I use steaks to motivate myself and count my calories.

In 2012 I started to slow down with my weight loss, I was not eating right. I was exercising more but ate about the same as when I was not trying to lose. So I would try to stay on track and some days I did but some days I went over my daily allotment. I lost 16 pounds in 2013.

September 19, 2014 marks 3 years with Spark People I have lost 37 pounds so far and learned to love exercising. I walk most every day and do strength training 3 times a week.

Jan. 2015 I gained and lost and gained and lost through out 2014 but was able to keep off an extra 5 pounds. I am going to do better this year by staying in my calorie range most every day. I am making daily changes in how and what I eat. Making healthier choices in what I eat and how much exercise I do.

March 15, 2015 have lost over 43 pounds since starting on Spark People.

My Program:
I do things my way- I drink a bottle of Slim fast for breakfast and dinner. For 10 am snack I have a Greek yogurt. Lunch is about 500 calories of healthy foods like soup, salad or sandwich . I have a 3 o'clock snack of 1/4 cup mixed nuts.
I exercise every day by doing push ups and taking a 1/2 hour to hour long walk.

I live in Sacramento Ca with my hubby of 10 years. He is also working to lose weight and is helping me stay on track.

Lets remember a Goal without a plan is just a wish we can have results or excuses but not both we get to pick I am picking results Happy July
