change is always needed

Change is always needed, whether it be for financial reasons, or emotional reasons, but now I must focus on physical reasons. They all mix together actually, but my mental state is fairly good for now, I just really need to change to get healthy. I am way to large for my age, and worry how my knees are going to hold up in the future. I also worry about the scare of getting diabetes due to how obese I am.

Welcome to the EE team!!

Ive belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, its a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!

Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. That has made a world of difference for me. I hope you have the same success!

~~best of luck to you on all of your goals!!!

I can really relate to what you wrote in your intro! I do think they all go together. The more financial stress, or other stress it seems to make it harder to lose! But, we are going to do this. We are so worth it!!!

Welcome to the emotional eaters team. You will get a lot of support, advice and encouragement here. Post us often. We will listen and help pick you up when you mess up and pat you on the back when you succeed. Go to your spark page and click on edit. Scroll to the bottom and you'll see weight ticker. There you can
setup your beginning weight and your goal weight. A valuable tool is the nutrition tracker. You will find it under the my tools tab. It will show your calories, fat, carbs and protein. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and get 30 grams of fiber with the water a day. Exercise 30 min. a day. Spark mail me if you need any help.
