Hey! If you keep on with what your SparkPlan is, then that's just fine. If you keep within the calorie range, and don't overexrecise (which is to say, don't exercise too much more than your SparkPlan says), then you'll be fine.
When I started this program for real, I started going to the gym A LOT more, doing an hour of cardio five days a week, and SparkPeople brought up a message on my "Fitness Tracker" stating that if I was exercising more than I had scheduled, I should change my Fitness Plan to match that so I don't undereat, since undereating is about as bad for you as overeating. Once I did that (five days a week, one hour each day), my calorie intake went from 1200-1550 to 1380-1730. Your intake should "match" your output, so that way you are receiving the nutrients you need to keep going. Once I started eating an extra 180 calories, I started feeling a LOT better.
Take your time--this is a PROCESS, not a competition! It's a lifestyle, not a "diet."
Welcome! If you need a shoulder, a friend or a virtual coffee at some point, drop by and say hello! I've just celebrated my SP seven month anniversary and am amazed at the absolutely incredible amount of support I've received. This is a fabulous site and you will be astounded at what you get out of it if you give it your all.
To celebrate your arrival at SP this Spring season, I would like to wish you a brand new start, never-ending moments of poise and balance and a joyful tip over on the scale to the side of light. I wish you a new dawn, an eternal youth and a morning star to wish on. Whatever battles you are fighting, whatever stresses may come your way, may they melt away with the winter and may you be granted a time of new light and a new life where your wildest dreams come true. ~ Michelle
