Taking advantage of my second chance

Hi, this must be the place for alittle bit about me.Several years ago, I had a back injury that left me mostly bedridden for 13 months. I have fought through drop foot on both legs and had to learn to walk all over again. After a year of hard work, I now can move around just as I had before the injury, but I found I was left with two bad side effects. The first problem is that the months in bed have left me much weaker then I was before and in that period, I gained plenty of weight. Although my ...
Although my movements were limited for 13 months, my appetite was not. I think I may have even eaten my will power. When I was able to start walking again, without a walker or the braces, it was a great feeling that lasted for several months. The good feeling was replaced with sadness one day when I realized that I had accepted the person that I had become physically. I had become a weak, obese, middle- aged man. This is unacceptable. There is nothing I can do to change the middle-aged part; however, the other two have to go. I joined the local YMCA and after about 2 weeks I heard about sparkpeople and decided to have a look and here I am.

Life is an occasion..........rise to it!!!!

Hi, we're trying to get our class team moving again. I'm going through the team members today and leaving a message. Would you be interested in getting involved with the team again? If so, please go by the message boards and post on the "roll call" post. I hope you'll join us! It would be nice to have the team together for our one year anniversary!
Have a great day!

Cool! I'm it! I like being it. I choose not to tag anyone on purpose and just chase people around all over the place. :)

What's going on over there? I'm sitting here doing homework and watching some guys cleaning my furniture and my carpet. I love watching other people clean because it means I'm not!
