1. to keep my blood pressure down 2. to be flexible and active 3. to do some sort of exercise at least 30 minutes a day.
I am watching how much sodium that I consume. I have stopped drinking sodas. Drinking more water. I take 2 fifteen minute breaks at work. At these breaks I am now doing what is called a walk/jog program. I am only in the 2nd week. I walk for five minutes and jog for two. I am also doing the strenght training exercises from Sparks in the morning before coming to work. Sounds like a lot, but it really is not.

I want to encourage you to use the charm bracelet idea. Last time I was active on SP I was giving myself rewards like new clothes and workout stuff which was nice, but also things I needed anyway and it never felt special. I was doing better putting pebbles in a jar for pouds lost, I loved to look at that jar.
So this time, a snazzier version--but one charm per kilo gone. If I fill the bracelet, I will be at 150 pounds and will need to decide if I want to go lower. I figure I can always double up charms on some of the links of the bracelet if I do. Frankly, 150 looks pretty good from here!
I read your post about making healthy choices and getting older and feeling like you need a lube job. I KNOW I KNOW! This morning my bones and joints seem to be creaking more. I think maybe the TINMAN had a point when he asked for more OIL :)
I read on your post that you are leaving the Boot Camp, I respect your decision to do so, I just wanted to share my experience last Janurary, when I did my first boot camp and hD recently started exercising. I kept up with the boot camp, the 30 min. daily cardio consisteD of walking outdoors or doing a Walk Away the Pounds DVD...when it came to the exercises, I did what I could. I had never used a stability ball, but I tried...often I had to call my husband to help me up because I was lauging too hard, but if I couldn't do the exercise on the ball, I would do what I could on the floor or use a chair to keep me safe. Do try again as they have "boot camp" teams through out the year, or perhaps join another challenge with another team. I wish you continued success on your weight loss journey!
