A little about me - I weighed 115 when I got pregnant with my son in 1996 and gained over 50 pounds with him...And my weight just took off from there...I got up to 230 and plateaued for a long time...In 2006, my husband passed away from a massive heart attack while I was 7 1/2 months pregnant with my 2 child...after I went thru all of that, I ended up gaining more weight and hit 240...I did lose some weight after having her but not much...In 2009, I switched from red meat to turkey and the ...
A little about me - I weighed 115 when I got pregnant with my son in 1996 and gained over 50 pounds with him...And my weight just took off from there...I got up to 230 and plateaued for a long time...In 2006, my husband passed away from a massive heart attack while I was 7 1/2 months pregnant with my 2 child...after I went thru all of that, I ended up gaining more weight and hit 240...I did lose some weight after having her but not much...In 2009, I switched from red meat to turkey and the pounds shredded! However, it didn't really make too much of a difference since I was pregnant with my 3rd child at the time (LOL) but after I had her I was at my lowest since I had been in 13 years...185! I was happy at that weight...I decided to have the Mirena IUD put in after I had a miscarriage in March 2010 and that was what went wrong...It caused my body to think it was pregnant all the time and made my thyroid plummet...I finally had the Mirena out in Feb 2012 and have been trying to lose weight since but only gained...Once I got my thyroid under control, I've managed to stay around 255 but put on 10 more pounds recently...I've tried Sensa, Jenny Craig and a host of others but none worked...Well, Jenny Craig did but I couldn't afford it :( - So a friend here at work told me about the 3 Day Military diet...My biggest problem has been sticking with a diet and when I found out this was 3 days on and 4 days off, I was hooked! I am so excited to be on this diet and more excited that it's worked for me and I've kept the weight off...As of today, I'm down to 259 for a total loss to date of 6 pounds...

My Goals:
Long Term Goal: Lose 135 Pounds by 12/31/13

Short Term Goal: Lose 30 Pounds by 3/1/13 for Vacation

No soda! Quit cold turkey on 1/8/13

High Goal: Lose 5-6 pounds per week

My Program:
Using Sparkpeople's calorie recommendation but am staying around 1300 per day. Exercising daily (or trying to) using Kinect Biggest Loser, Kinect Zumba, Yoga on Youtube or Sparkpeople, and have cut out all bad foods and soda!

Personal Information:
I'm originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to Atlanta, GA for 5 years. Moved back to Knoxville in 2011 and am happy here working as an Accounting Manager for an Interior Design company. I have 4 children ages 19, 16, 6 and 3. My oldest two are boys and my youngest two are girls. I'm in a committed relationship with my youngest daughters father as my oldest three's father passed away in 2006.
