This is Me

Just trying to be the best me. I want to lose over 20 lbs by eating 1200-1500 calories a day, running and swimming, and throwing in a little bit of strength training.
Ultimately, I want to weigh about 130lbs, and be able to run a half marathon by this fall.

My Goals:
I have lost a bit of my pre-pregnancy weight, but the loss has stalled for about 6 months now. I need to get back on track and lose until I reach my ultimate goal.
I also want to fix the damage pregnancy has done to my tummy. YUK

My Program:
I've been running, but now I am going to count calories and do a little bit of strength training. And also kick up the running. I would like to do a half marathon by fall 2008.

Personal Information:
Originally from Sacramento, CA. We have (somewhat temporarily) relocated to Oklahoma City, OK.

Other Information:
I had a beautiful baby girl in July 2007 with my wonderful husband, who I have been married to since November 2004.

Hi! What 5k are you doing this weekend? I was planning on doing The Runner's 8k Sat, but I might not be able to now. I run everywhere-usually just around my neighborhood. I ran for the first time by the river for the Red Earth 5k a few weeks ago. It was great-I might have to get down there again. What pace are you typically running?

What half are you going for? I'm shooting for the Route 66 in Nov and then another half for the OKC Memorial Marathon. Who knows where that will take me, although I suppose the next goal would be a full marathon...wow. I can't let my mind go there yet.

You can do it!!!!

No, she wasn't 64 lbs... but she was 9.4 and I was impressed with that. Pregnancy was really difficult for me healthwise, though held all the magic and mystery I ever imagined it would.
I think it's great you're here with us, and hope we get to know each other!

i think i figured it out!
i dont think you have the box checked off that lets you get mail. if you want to change that, go to edit page and im pretty sure its an option.
thats alright though, we can communicate this way if you want.

i actually havent had a weigh in day yet, haha. but the last time i weighed myself was before i really started the program, which was last thursday so i just figured thursdays would be my weigh in days.

thinking about it, maybe it would be better to have weigh in days on different days to motivate eachother more. i mean, if you weigh yourself monday and lose 3 lbs it would make me want to work harder from monday til thursday, and the same for you from thursday til monday if i lose.

i dunno its up to you!
