Now that's my kind of vacation!

My youngest daughter & myself at Wrightsville Beach for a wedding 7/3/05

I have 5 pics in my gallery

I'll get there!

It's a rough road getting there, but it'll be worth the trip.

My Goals:
My goal is to bring down my cholesterol so that I don't have to take medication for it. I've been on the lowest dose for about 3 years. I know that if I bring the weight down, that will help. Also, during my last doctor visit, my doctor said he wants to keep an eye on my blood pressure. I don't like to take meds, so.....this program helps hold me accountable. Of course, the weight loss will be so big in my eyes (better in my eyes than big on my thighs!). I'm trying to not focus on losing weight for outer beauty but for inner health. Of course the outer beauty will definitely be a nice perk!

My Program:
I'm trying to excercise everyday. At least 30 minutes of aerobic.

Personal Information:
I have 4 adult children living in different states (Kentucky, Ohio, Texas). I have 2 granddaughters in KY, 2 in OH & 1 on the way in TX. I work at a university as a financial aid administrator & love my job. It's quite stressful at times but very gratifying.

Other Information:
I love to dance, be around people, challenges & going places. I love conversation. I don't know a stranger (I get that from my dad).

emoticon for the goodie. It sure did brighten my day. abd your comment put an even bigger smile on my face.
I saw in the posts about your tough day. I am sorry to hear about it. If you can't tell your boss about inequalitiies, write a memo. Explauin what is going on and ask for help. Don't get stressed and unhappy. You can only do just so much.

As requested, here is the great Agnoli-Molinare Meatball Recipe:

2 lbs beef (do not get lean)
2 cups bread crumbs (fresh or canned - plain)
1 cup of milk (2%)
1 onion minced (medium size)
3+ garlic cloves (to taste - more the better)
2 tablespoons parsley (fresh)
1/2 cup parmesan (not romano)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
4 eggs (key)

Make balls and then fry (no oil) in salted (draws out some of the fat) skillet on medium. Sip wine.
Brown each side (yes, I know they are round! LOL). Drain. Sip wine.
Throw the balls into your best sauce and cook in sauce pan on medium for 45 minutes. Sip wine.
Note, they are not cooked until they simmer in the sauce (gravy if you are from NY/NJ). Serve alone or with linguine. Top with mozz if you want. Sip wine.

Hi there. I haven't stopped by to see you in a while. Is everything going well? School for me is on the back burner once again. A little down about that but God has a plan for me so I will just wait for Him to tell me when it is right. I look forward to hearing from you and have a great day:)
