I joined spark people on my first journey of losing weight but over the past 8 years of fighting thyroid disease it has taken a toll. I am, now back up to 200 pounds and feeling so sad. My husbands journey in the marines is coming to an end after 20 years and i want us to enjoy our retirement while we are still young. Ready to get these pounds off and fight all my health problems. I am back and ready!!!

    Things are good girl, great to hear from ya. I am still trying to get into a routine. Right now I have a real hard time finding the time to workout. The only thing keeping me losing is breastfeeding and watching what I eat. But I know that I need to get it in there or else I won't like what I look like with all the extra hangy skin :) How have you been?

    Hi there - thanks for the comment on my page. I have only been a member since 12/30/08. Today is the start of my 3rd week. WOW - You have done SO good. I remember I weighed 217 after the birth of my daughter when I first started to lose weight and last summer I got down to 167 (yes I have gained some back) and so I know how you must feel when I look at where you started and where you are - very proud. I am here because I want to feel that again, and more. I put an end date on my weight loss last time and when I had reached -50 lbs mark, I started to give myself breaks here and there to miss workouts and cheat on my diet and 18 months later I have put back on 30 of what I lost (and had worked hard to lose!). DON'T DO THAT!! Don't make that mistake - don't put an end date, keep it an ongoing lifestyle. Great Job.
