Gotta loose this gut!

Even with giving birth 6 times, I have always been average in the weight. A few years ago I injured myself. I went through a series of steriod shots and gained about 25 pounds with each one of 3. I have always been quite active, but the injury slowed me down to almost a dead stop. Then being diagnosed with fibromialgia didn't help matters either. Even with giving birth 6 times, I have always been average in the weight. A few years ago I injured myself. I went through a series of steriod shots and gained about 25 pounds with each one of 3. I have always been quite active, but the injury slowed me down to almost a dead stop. Then being diagnosed with fibromialgia didn't help matters either. I kept saying to myself that I know that I wouldn't hurt nearly as much if I could just get this weight off. With the help of my physical therapist I began a work out that was light but progressive. I am now up to walking a mile plus a day, and receintly added very light weights. My doctor suggested sparks, and added a few of his opinions on what to try. Daily exercizing is not always possible for me, because of my level of pain.

I am currently finishing my first week My first goal is to be under 200 pounds. When I started I was at 209 and I am currently at 201. just 2 pounds away from that goal. The most wonderful thing is that my 17 year old daughter joined with me. We both wear exactly the same size right now. She loves sparks for teens. The buddy system is great too.

We have a pact to not make the rest of the family suffer for us wanting to loose weight. We simply go for a walk when the rest of the family has their treats. One of us always suggests it.

So here is to one week of weight loss!
