A work in progress!

I used Spark People in 2008 to lose weight before my wedding. Although I didn't reach my goal, I was able to lose 12lbs! Since then I have had a little boy and am now trying to lose my pre-baby weight (have already lost the baby weight). Want to become more healthier before we expand our family even more.

I want to become more healthy for myself and my family. I want to set a good example for my son. Plus, I want to be more comfortable with my body.

My Goals:
Lose my pre-pregnacy weight before we expand our family again.

My Program:
I'm going to count calories, journal, and exercise. My goal is to do cardio at least 4 times a week. I know the key to sucess is JOURNAL, JOURNAL, JOURNAL!!!

I'm also getting my metabolism tested every 12 weeks to determine the specific number of calories my body needs and getting my fat tissue calculated every other week at Target Metabolism (a wonderful program in Indianapolis)

Other Information:
I used to do half marathons but have decide that they cause me more anxiety than it they were fun. So I'm trying to learn to fall in love with running shorter distances, with a long run max of 6 miles. I love Zumba, Bodystep, and Bodycombat classes. Would one day like to complete a triathalon (small one), just to say I did it

How did your first week go with sparkpeople? I think I did pretty good. I had a meltdown today though. PMS time, the first time in about 9 months! It hit me out of no where so it was salts all day! Not looking forward to getting on the scale tomorrow. I don't think I made alot of progress this week. emoticon

I did a lot of lower body exercises. When I was doing squats Gabe wouldn't let me not hold him, so basically I did 2 sets of 12 with a 25 lb weight! lol...I am doing pretty good. I could be doing better on the types of food I eat, but baby steps right? Matt isn't exactly the most helpful or supportive but he isn't being a total pain either!

How is Branden doing in the support department?
