My Goals:
- Rehab my arthritic knees well enough to resume dancing in April. I can hardly wait!!! :)
- Continue my current financial plan of aggressive saving and smart spending.
- Home improvement: Install fence around entire yard (pay cash).
- 5% reduction in body weight during BLC-9.
- Another 5% during BLC-10.

My Program:
- Getting honest with myself and tracking everything (every morsel consumed; every minute exercised).

- Sticking to my food allergy/sensitivity "treatment program" (which means staying away from dairy, yeast, corn, etc.). Weight management is MUCHMUCHMUCH easier when I stick to the "yes" list.

The only shoes I have found that fit my feet properly are Mizunos. I love them but the colors are generally hideous. I got some in a nice calm color a couple of years ago but that was pure luck. I use Ascends for my trail shoes and Alchemys for my street running shoes. I just bought three new pair of Alchemys and one pair of Ascends earlier this month but I haven't started wearing them yet.

I see a comment congratulating you on your upcoming wedding. Congratulations! That's wonderful :)

I am so happy to tell you how I gorged and was down 2.8 for the week!!! The secret is that I eat at the high to mid range of my calories every other day of the week. Then, once a week I really let loose at one or two meals. Usually a Saturday. This Sat I went out for cheese fries and beer, then to a birthday party and had veggie lasagne (plus seconds...), deviled eggs, salad, cake, brownies...But then I was very diligent about tracking after that. As a matter of fact, I went out with my girlfriends later than night and while they were scarfing down burgers and beers I had one beer and a club soda. Which I could handle because I was not feeling deprived. I had already had my splurges.

Does this make sense to you? I cannot fathom why it works, but it works. I'm sure it is something about keeping your metabolism stoked up.

Oh, and 7 hours in the gym in 4 days didn't hurt either :)

Hope you are well. Glad you popped by!

Lori
