Just stopping by to see if you're still motivated and keeping active. I thought I was doing well with not eating at night and eating a lot of green stuff, but I gained 3 pounds since yesterday. Don't know quite where it came from, but I won't obsess or stress. I'll just keep on keeping on.

Hope you are doing well and loving what you're doing.

Your profile image is the same one I picked out for my Irishman husband's cell phone wallpaper. It's a beaut! One of our dreams is to tour Ireland and visit her many beautiful crosses. I'm delighted that you've joined the Can't Do This On My Own Team! What a relief to not have to travel this road to health and vitality alone. Having SparkFriends makes the journey so much nicer! Looking forward to getting to know you through our threads. God bless!

I know the feeling. I've gained back a few and can't seem to shed. I won't pretend I don't know what I'm doing wrong. It's called going to barbeques and picnics and weddings and not using much discretion about what I shove in my mouth.

I plan to get back on the wagon...or off, however that works...and regain my focus. I refuse to go back to where I was. I feel so strong, athletic, and powerful in every area of my life. Doesn't hurt that I had to buy smaller sizes this year. Stick with it. Stay motivated. Stay involved on teh boards and you'll be fine.

There are a couple of articles here on SP about breaking through a plateau. I'll be reviewing them myself if I don't show a loss this week (although in my case, I pretty well know the reason: my activity levels haven't been as high as in the initial few weeks).

One question that may seem odd: are you making sure to eat AT LEAST the bottom of your ranges? And do your ranges take into account your current activity levels? If you're doing significantly more activity than SP thinks you are, your calorie range may be set too low (because it's set for safe weight loss assuming the lower activity levels). In that case, even eating withing (but at the low end) of your range might be putting your body into "starvation mode" and making it hang onto everything it gets.

Also, is there any possibility that the weight gain represents muscle mass? Because muscle is denser, it weighs more than the same volume of non-muscle tissue. Here's where body measurements, the fit of your clothes, and the like can reassure you that you're still making progress.
