I've been here since September of 2012. I've made some Great SP friends and I'm made some progress but I've also had some challenges this year that made my progress seem none existent.

Half my battle was waged before I got here. I've been working out since 1997. One thing I've discovered is, you can workout till you pass out, but if your not watching those calories coming in....your still gonna gain weight....sigh.

Since this past April, I've been concentrating on really making progress. I've changed up my workouts a lot due to an accident I had where I broke/fractured 3 transverse processes in my lumbar spine.

One great thing about my accident is it showed me you don't have to sweat your tush off to get results. I've fallen in love with Barre workouts and walking.

I've also changed my way of eating and thinking. If it has a label on it, I'm really not so sure I want to put it in my mouth. We've really been trying to hit the farmers (actual farms sell food, who knew) and farmers market and Whole Foods for natural foods. It has changed my snacking habits for sure and because I'm so against one time use products, we save money and I drink more water (from the tap because it's free and actually better than bottled water).

My Goals:
My present goal is to track my food (often where I get lazy)
Workout 5 to 6 days a week.
New goal - try to get 3 sessions at least 10 minutes in length or better a week.

My Program:
Right now, it's to stay within my calorie range and workout 5 to 6 days a week. 2 to 3 days weights or circuit and the remaining will be cardio.
New Goal - stretching or yoga 10 minutes or better 3 times per week.

Personal Information:
I live in Annapolis, Maryland with my husband of 5 and a half years.

We have horses and doggies.



Other Information:
I'm always looking for ways to help myself. Weather it's simplifying my life or changing my way of thinking. Education is key.

Celeste, I had been getting 2's day after day for 6 days in a row! The bonuses weren't much either so I was shocked to get a 10. Back to double 3's today. I wonder why we don't get double 10's or better? I know, there are lots of days that I wonder why I bother spinning the wheel. I feel sure that it is rigged!
