This I do for me.

I am a natural advocate and care provider for others but I often neglect and even abuse myself. It's time to take care of me. To advocate for myself. To stop the abuse (over-eating; smoking; being sedentary) and to build myself up. I will learn to treat myself as I treat others. I deserve to be well cared for. I deserve to be proud of myself and to feel healthy and strong. Over this next year I will be working on a very special project: MYSELF.

My Goals:
My goal has two parts:
1) remain smoke-free
and
2) weigh 140 pounds

My Program:
I quit smoking recently and dusted off my treadmill. Also am trying to leash train a wild squirrel (AKA my Chihuahua puppy). Hopefully increasing my walking each day will help me shed some pounds and also enjoy some "me time".

Personal Information:
My name is Connie and I am from Virginia. I was about 230 at my heaviest (on my wedding day) in February 2014. I started smoking and lost down to 190, but now I realize I have to quit smoking. And continue to lose weight. Somehow.

Other Information:
Its time for me to do this the right way. For me. I am ready to be healthy and "enjoy my next 40 years".
