Saw your post on amount of calories concern. I wish I had tracked on this diet all the way thru as I also consumed very small amount (700 is considered very little for calories) even as I entered the other cycles. Many believe that eating such a low amount of calories over time does create problems - when I entered the cycle for the second time, I quit losing weight until I added in more calories. For me, tracking is very important to be sure I eat enough calories (which I believe is at least the basic metabolic rate (bmr) amount - sp recommends at least 1200 and that is what it is about for me). 1433 days ago
ANY time is a great time to start...especially with Sparkpeople. Give yourself a big hug for making this positive choice for yourself. Take your time to explore all the resources available for you here. It can seem overwhelming because there are so many resources to choose from. Two to consider using are the Nutrition and Fitness Trackers. Also, check out Spark Teams under the COMMUNITY Tab. Do searches on your goals, interests, hobbies, whatever. Then join one, two or more Spark teams. You'll enjoy getting to know these folks and giving and getting lots of encouragement along the way. It's all good. Enjoy the journey!
