Back to Fitness! :D

Hello all! I am a fitness professional trying to get back to my peak fitness once again. I just moved back to AZ where you can be active outdoors year-round easily. My goal is to get back to where I was a year ago prior to my foot and back injuries. I'd eventually like to test out a half-marathon and get the Jillian Michaels body. Hello all! I am a fitness professional trying to get back to my peak fitness once again. I just moved back to AZ where you can be active outdoors year-round easily. My goal is to get back to where I was a year ago prior to my foot and back injuries. I'd eventually like to test out a half-marathon and get the Jillian Michaels body. I love being outdoors so sports and hiking are what I love.

About 4 years ago I began my weight loss journey. I was very active in school with sports but ate horribly and was overweight. When I got to college, I gained 30 more pounds and was at 225+. I ran out of blood pressure pills one month and decided I seriously needed to take care of myself. After that, I logged everything I ate, read diet tips and healthy eating daily, and logged in my fitness. Holding yourself accountable is the most important part. At my peak, I was down to 155 but with my height it looked funny so I'm aiming for 160.

After maintaining my weight for 3 years I settled down and moved in with my boyfriend which was a diet disaster. I began eating whatever he ate and found myself edging back towards 180-185 again. I was trying everything and not losing anything but once I got active again I lost a little and to lose the rest I'm going back to what I did previously so I joined Sparkpeople to finish up those last 15 lbs.!

Welcome to the Outdoors team and more importantly congratulations on your 60 pound weight loss.

I have plans to get a tattoo (another) when I lose the rest of my 20 lbs (6 down so far) - I can't wait!

R&R in San Diego is, honestly, not a very pretty course, but the hills aren't bad. I doubt I will run it again, but I'm glad I ran it once (last year).
