I am told that my waist- hip ratio should be less than .8 (seems impossible!) I've learned I have to laugh at myself - and just laugh in general as much as possible. I've learned to not stress so much and CERTAINLY not to worry about those things I can not control. I've learned it is best to rely on MYSELF. I believe there is good in almost everything - we just have to look a little closer sometimes. When I can, I love to swim, kayak, canoe, work out ...

My Goals:
To be strong both mentally and physically is a real goal of mine. I plan to live into my 100's and know that this requires some good work on my behalf. One of my goals is still to re-gain my waist line. I'm focused on being both mentally and physically healthy.
My Program:
I eat 3-4 fruits daily and 3-4 veggies daily. I drink 12 cups of fluid every day and at least 4 of them are plain water. I walk 3 miles @ 4 miles an hour (without a treadmill). Line dance class has given me a chance to exercise and laugh at the same time! A good thing.
Personal Information:
I live in northern Maine. I'm not much of a cold weather person, but, I have learned to deal with the winter. And up here, you either get out and enjoy it or you hibernate like a bear all the long winter... best to get out of doors and enjoy.
Other Information:
I think we all have the advantage at looking at our past relatives and learning from their lifestyles. It is a great hindsight that we can use and learn from. We can glean from the good points and cull out the bad points. Because if we don't learn from our past then how can we plot our future.
