My name is Casey. I'm 24 and currently go to college in Washington D.C. I love photography, reading, writing and traveling and if I ever get the chance to find a career with those tangibles, i'll die happy. Weight has always been a problem with me but determination has always been a strongpoint. I hate to fail and with enough support, I'll finally reach my goal weight and feel better about myself personally.

I work out 4 times a week generally with a day off except for the Saturday/Sunday series.
I weight lift for about 30 to 45 minutes focusing on my upper and lower body
I do cardio either by cycling or elliptical for at least 1 hour at a low resistance to keep my heart range in the 130 to 145 range (Prime fat burn range)
I eat up to 2300 calories a day although I do have days I cheat and eat out with friends but theyre occasional now, not regular.
Born in Kansas in 1985. I grew up in the midwest and heartland and I feel i'm better for it. I breezed through school and ended up in various colleges until I found a home at GWU in Washington DC. I currently major in history but I also write, travel, blog, photograph and generally get into trouble or fun depending on how you look at it.
I originally wanted to be a personal trainer and work with a college or pro team but that dream died out. I still have a lot of experience from workshops, clinics and basic courses that I studied so I'm always happy to help and answer any questions.

Miss you! I've been so incredibly busy, crazed, hectic. You know, the usual. But guess what? I graduate college on Saturday :D So maybe it has all been worth it... I hope. We'll see if I can get a job in the oh-so-lucrative career of photography. Nobody told me, but it seems if you get a degree in the arts, it's code for "you will work in a min wage job after graduation". So wish me luck.
How are YOU?? How's life, school, work, etc etc?
P.S. I WISH SO BAD I lived in San Fran. I live a good 9 hours away in Orange County. So sadly I cannot have coffee with you but if you wanted to cruise down to Southern California, I'm in!
How are you workin in a photo workshop with National Geographic?!?! What does it entail?? And how can I get a piece of this action??
A vegetarian blog huh? I always try to blog on wordpress and then get bored and watch tv instead haha. I just don't have that much to say (although this comment would seem to contradict that hmm?) Anyhoo, I'll stop here. Hope you're having a good one!

Hey you! Sorry it took me ages to write back, I have put Spark on the backburner in favor of partying and other shenanigans... and have gained back 7 lbs!! Probably all in rum. So I'm unhappy with myself but I'm getting back into the swing of things. My birthday was yesterday- big 22! And I'm graduating in August, did I tell you?? So excited. Anyhoo, I am rambling a bit but I missed ya. What's been happening in the life of Casey??

How are you?? I have been good but pretty busy. I got a job at school and uuugh actually have to do work now. The school work has been pretty light, or so I thought until I realized today that I have about three projects due tomorrow. ... Ooops. So working on those is my plan for today (exciting, no?). How have you been? Lifting weights? Workin on the guns?

Yaay, look who's back! Ooooh man, you are sick AND bogged down with school? I know how that is, in fact I just dropped a class. I didn't NEED it and I definitely didn't need the extra hassle. How is school going otherwise? Learning a lot? I'm in a history class right now and the teacher expects us to read 70 pages each week of dry textbook. I have been bad and saved it all for today.. with a paper and a project and a test for another class. SHAME on me.
