I am doing awsome! I have lost 23 lbs so far and the inches are coming off all the time! I just keep plugging in and having faith that it will all come off one day! I am a proud parent of a 10 year old and they say after you have children you are always left with the reminder around your stomach lol. It's ok because I wouldn't trade my son for the world or the life I live in!
I appreciate you checking in and I hope your week went the same! I was looking at when you wrote this comment to me and it was back on 3/01. I didn't think I even started on spark people until March. I guess it must have been the end of February after all. Go figure! emoticon

Haven't heard from you in a while and to be fair I have left any comments either. Hope all is well and you are staying dedicated to your goals. I "lost my way" for a while but have found renewed hope. I am back to FitZone and eating healthy. My husband and I are going to Nashville, Tennessee in June and I want to go with improved self-esteem and better body image. I am hoping to drop at least 20 pounds between now and then. I have posted little reminders all over my house...things to help keep me focused.

Work has finally settled down. Our census was out of control from January till early March. I was working a ridiculous amount of hours each week. That coupled with my mom/wife responsibilities and full-time grad school had me extremely stressed out!

Hope all is well. I would love to hear an update!

Hi. I am in Texas, not Kalamazoo but I know there are a walking club in your area if you are interested walking. I do similar walks every weekend. We are not "fund raising" clubs, we are for fun, fitness and fellowship. Our clubs are family oriented and most events are baby stroller, and pet friendly. Our object is to keep a record book and collect a stamp for each event that we do. I've done over a 1000 of the 10K events in Texas and in 46 other states. Here is the information on your local club:

Club Name: Kalamazoo Valley Walkers
Address: 2221 Amherst Ave
City: Kalamazoo
State: MI
Zip: 49008-3969
Contact: David Nesius
Phone: (269) 345-3073
Website: www.kvwalkers.org/

ok so the play was great, my daughter was great. She played a bartender! I kept thinking "please dont drop anything" How funny is that? lol. I got a little teary eyed, but of course didnt want to embarrass her but did anyway cuz I was beaming from ear to ear and everytime she looked at me she kinda giggled. Overall, very fun evening and very good job by the drama teacher.
