Time to update my intro information again, since I just had another birthday. I'm 34 now. Not much else has changed, though. Quick info about me:

34, married to my husband of 13 1/2 years. No children, but a lovey cat named Beto and a little precious dog named Ginger. We live in Columbus, Ohio.

34, married to my husband of 13 1/2 years. No children, but a lovey cat named Beto and a little precious dog named Ginger. We live in Columbus, Ohio.

One of my biggest health struggles is being a Type 2 Diabetic. It is not well controlled right now, but I'm working on it diligently. It's more than a full time job some days. Slow and steady wins the race, though.

My other big health challenge is, obviously, my weight. As of this morning {6/13/14}, I weigh 268.2 by my home scale. That's down 23 lbs from my all time highest weight of 291. I've been stuck in pretty much the same weight range for a couple years, but I'm ready and motivated to get the scale going the right way.

I think that covers the basics about me. If anyone has any questions, just ask!

I've been out of town and/or away from the computer, so I just got caught up on your blog postings - I hope you get helpful info from the doctor on the PAD problem. Good for you for getting your walks in anyway!

Yeah, same here, thanks for the add. My PCOS has almost always presented this way. There have been a few times when I have not had a period for months though too. I hope you get some relief soon. Not sure where you are on the weight loss thing, but losing just 10 pounds made a huge difference in my periods. It's a hard process though and it sure doesn't come off overnight. I've cut almost all processed carbs. That has helped me a lot. I still eat starchy veggies, just keep them to a minimum. Good luck with whatever you're plan is. I bought the 17 Day Diet online, when I first started and it was excellent for getting some of that original weight off for me and really helped my periods. I was a maniac before I did that diet. Now I just do what I want, but still working towards my goal. Doing what I want, meaning that I don't really follow any diet right now.

Have an excellent day, hope I haven't talked your ear off already.
