Time to update my intro information again, since I just had another birthday. I'm 34 now. Not much else has changed, though. Quick info about me:

34, married to my husband of 13 1/2 years. No children, but a lovey cat named Beto and a little precious dog named Ginger. We live in Columbus, Ohio.

One of my biggest health struggles is being a Type 2 Diabetic. It is not well controlled right now, but I'm working on it diligently. It's more than a full time job some ...
Time to update my intro information again, since I just had another birthday. I'm 34 now. Not much else has changed, though. Quick info about me:

34, married to my husband of 13 1/2 years. No children, but a lovey cat named Beto and a little precious dog named Ginger. We live in Columbus, Ohio.

One of my biggest health struggles is being a Type 2 Diabetic. It is not well controlled right now, but I'm working on it diligently. It's more than a full time job some days. Slow and steady wins the race, though.

My other big health challenge is, obviously, my weight. As of this morning {6/13/14}, I weigh 268.2 by my home scale. That's down 23 lbs from my all time highest weight of 291. I've been stuck in pretty much the same weight range for a couple years, but I'm ready and motivated to get the scale going the right way.

My Goals:
1. By Oct 1st, to hit at least 3,900 fitness minutes. - Goal met, early Sept.

2. By Jan 1st, to hit at least 4.700 fitness minutes. -- Reached Sept 28th.

3. By Labor Day {Sept 1st}, to weigh 255 lbs. - Not met

4. By Halloween to weigh 255 lbs.

5. By New Years to weigh 249 lbs.

6. To have an A1C below 9 at my appointment with the endo on July 25th. - A1C not tested.

7. To have an A1C below 8.5 by my appointment that will be around the end of Oct.

My Program:
My program is to take one day at a time and make small changes. I've learned, a few too many times, that anything else is destined to fail.

Okay, I got some suggestions for workout music: Soundgarden, Tool, Distubed, Korn, Rage Against the Machine, POD, Stained, Pearl Jam and Mudvayne. These came from a friend of mine & he likes harder rock. I would add Led Zepplin.

Yeah my sister has one of those... they are hard to do! We usually only get snow on the ground three times that sticks around for awile but I don't like walking when it get too cold,
