Roasted Kale: I put my kale chunks in a large plastic bag and pour in 1 - 2 T coconut oil or olive oil and shake, massage, etc. the oil to coat all. Some recipes say to drizzle on a cookie sheet and rub in. I usually add some flavoring like garlic powder or smoky paprika blended with nutritional yeast.

Then bake on a cookie sheet about 15 - 20 minutes at 350. You want them dry crunchy.

My health food store sells them where they are dehydrated, not baked. The company makes a delicious coating mainly out of veggies and beans, sprays it on the kale, and then dehydrates everything. I love those. That is going to be my next experiment.

I purchased the veg. garden 4 X 4 boxes from Home Depot, around $35. "Tongue and groove" type slots to fit the 4 corners together. Each vertical post had a "cap" that I didn't bother with.
Each side has 2 3inch boards to make it 6 inches tall on the side wall. I follow the square foot gardening method by Mel Bartholomew. You can grow LOTS in the 16 squares in a 4 X 4 foot frame. Some in wheelchairs put the frame on a 1 inch 4 x 4 foot sheet of plywood and raise it up onto cinder blocks or sawhorses. Sorry. I didn't receive notification you had comments on my photos until today. Send sparkmail if you have further quesitons
