Time to get serious and stop the excuses. I've been using SparkPeople for over 2 years now. Turns out I had a Hypothyroid condition diagonosed in March 2010 that was hampering my weight loss attempts. Weightloss - a step back in time: 89 kg My heaviest ever. My weight when diagonosed. 82 kg My weight at the start of 2009 80 kg My weight when I started Spark March 2008 79 kg My weight at term with child #4 74 kg My weight when I fell pregnant with child #4 71 kg My weight 4 months after child #4 was born 70 kg Healthy BMI for me. My current goal weight. 67 kg My weight at term with child #1 61 kg My weight when I fell pregnant with child #1 and child #2. Also my normal weight before I had children. My ulitmate thought perhaps unrealistic goal weight.

My Goals:
Get to a healthy BMI (70kg) The weight happening very slowly for me, so my new improved goal is to get my waist to 70 - 75 cm (before babies it was under 65 cm, currently it is about 85 cm). Waist measurement 14th August 2008: 78cm - so close. My hip to waist ratio is 0.83. Trying to get it under 0.8
My Program:
I'm swimming Mon, Tues and Wed morning. At the moment I swim about 2 km and it takes me just under an hour. On the weekend, I walk for at least an hour each day. I take my eldest 2 children to aquaaerobics on Monday nights. I strength train Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. I change the exercises every month.
