Starting Over!

I am 30 yrs Old, a wife and a mother of 3 children. I recently started working out again. I Gained a lot of weight when I got married and just got in to a routine where I was cooking, cleaning and working. I didn't make time for the gym anymore. But Now I feel like I have neglected myself. My husband says Im still beautiful and I believe he feels that way. I just dont feel as beautiful as I did when I was 40 pounds lighter. Sometimes I feel like my husband wants me heavy because it makes my self esteem low. I have recently convienced him we should start working out together and reach our goals as a team. So we have started going to the gym daily.

My Goals:
My Goal is to feel good about what I see when I stand in the mirror naked! LOL! May sound crazy but its the truth.. I want to go to the beach and not feel like i have to wear my dress over my bathing suit.. I want to feel sexy in what ever I wear.. I want to run around and play with my children and not feel out of breath and exhausted.. My goal is to have a higher energy level so I can be more active with my family... But mainly I just want to be Sexy! So my hubby will look at me and say to himself.. "WOW! That is MY Wife"

My Program:
I started on December 1st getting up at 5am, 6 days a week. I run on the treadmil the best I can I take it slow and I will work my way up to a faster speed. I pick a certain body area to workout along with my cardio, and I work out my abs 5 days a week. I incorporate some P90X ab ripper exercises with some that my husband suggested.. I am determined to get this body in shape..

Personal Information:
My name is Catalina, I am dominican I currently live in Texas (Houston County) I am a government contractor for the Army so I am currently working in Afghanistan.. I served in the Army active duty for 8 years. When I was in the Army I was at my highest level of fitness then shortly after getting out I stopped working out.. I picked it back up two years ago but the past year I have fallen off my workout and gained 40 pounds..

Thank you so much Tia, I will keep that in mind. And that is what I am doing. I am trying not to change too much because that is when it gets hard to maintain.. Last time I lost weight I was not eating much and working out a lot then I got in a normal routine and couldn't maintain that.. But now that me and my hubby are doing this together I know it will be a lot easier.. You are a true inspiration!! emoticon

Thank you so much! If you haven't read my "About Me" section, feel free as my main pointers are there. I would say the top one I can give you is to make sure whatever you do to lose and get to your goal is something you will keep doing once you hit your goal. You should n't haveto chance much other than eating a little more to maintain. Find an eating and exercise lifestyle you can live with and you'll never diet and maintaining won't be too difficult.
