Committed to Results

I have tried to lose weight many times with little to no results. I retired 4 months ago and now have the time to dedicate to reaching the results I want. I have lost some weight before joining, but am hoping these trackers will keep me focused. Also just developed and am managing and trying to eliminate Type 2 Diabetes. Exercise is my weakness however. I have a long way to go but am okay with a slow and steady pace.

Here I am, butting into someone else's conversation. I know that at least DirectTV offers satellite internet, and I think Dish does as well. I live in the middle of nowhere, so if I want tv, I have to have satellite. The signal breaks up too much for internet, so that comes through the phone lines, but according to the Directv people, if you have a clear view to the south, they can hook you up with a tv/internet package.

Your pond is gorgeous!!!

Hi Cathy I have flowers on my tomatoes, they take while to come here. I also have BUSH GREEN beans and onions well sprouted in My locker garden. I am so glad I left the doors on two of the openings I can close the lid and the plants will germinate is a moist dark environment. My Amaryllis is coming back I cannot leave it out but I have had it blooming for at least 4 years now.
At first it was 5 heads but it looks like it will be a single blossom again this year. It lasted well. HUGS Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi Cathy I was hoping to see some flower pics. I noticed you have been missing for a while. I hope you were busy with your lovely garden. I too have been doing a lot of very hard work .
We have clay but I want it to be nice when our DIL visits for the first time in 12 years. DH hip is great but I am concerned about digging clay with a spade. I can do it, it just takes time.
Tomorrow we will be going to the coastal Maine botanical gardens.
Midnight just struck, I am off to bed HUGS Pat in Maine.

Hi Cathy, I am hoping your rain is not coming our way. We are just beginning to get the ditches dry. We have a few hardy miniature daffodils in bloom The standard ones are not about to bloom in this cold.
Crocus came and went with the heavy rains, I barely saw them.
I am hoping to get more raking done and have mulch that we never got down last year. I imagine your garden is already beautiful. We have a short but rapid season here. Take care Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Cathy we love them all roasted but we never add anything except the oil and White or black pepper. We rarely eat anything hot or spicy but we love the sweetness of the roasted veggies. HUGS and much love Pat in Maine. We do the cauliflower to make it look like white potato and now we prefer it to white potato.

How does your garden grow. we are still too cold to plant. I looked at a temporary Greenhouse in Sams club. I would love to have one to grow good tomatoes and peppers. You have no need of one but it would enhance my gardening HUGS Pat, emoticon emoticon
