My Goals:
My goal is simple: get a usable body back -- one that moves without pain or fatigue.

My Program:
Nutrition: The biggest thing that will help me lose weight is to stop eating fast food. My plan is to limit drive thru meals to once a week and to cook for myself or use frozen meals the rest of the time.

Exercise: Daily stretching and 20 minutes of treadmill. Upper body toning every 3rd day, lower body toning the day after and core work the 2nd day. Rinse and repeat. ;)

Cathwren, thank you for the spark goodie. Sort of like an early present. Happy Holidays to you too.

The farm is quite winterized and actually seems warmer than my house here...so no worries, though for the large driveway I only had a shovel and it took 2 hours to shovel out the drift that had collected there.

I read your post on Chair Exercise Team about being able to walk some in store without scooter. I share in your joy because I really know that freeing feeling. Keep up the good work!! As I say you will "recapture your normals". I never dreamed I could have those kind of things again and I am loving it. My scooter is gathering dust. We could do the baby step dance together over the things that many people take for granted but are awesome to us. To think this kind of improvement could start with 10 minutes a day exercise in a chair...mine was more of a wiggle in the chair.
hugs,
Margarette

LOVE...your comment on my blog...yes the farm is coming along, still a long way to go and little time to work on it as I now have PT 2x a week for a while...I will certainly keep coming to SP and spend a little time out here on the web, but maybe not quite as much time as I used to.
