My Goals:
To enjoy husband, kids and grandkids! To have a healthy and vibrant life and offset my osteoporosis. To take charge of my health and fitness and be the best I can be...and fill my life with those special, nature, friends...

My Program:
Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water each day

Eat clean as much as possible by reducing processed foods and choosing fresh nutritional options

Weight train at least 3 times per week with the goal of building bone density, muscle tone and gaining core strength

Incorporate aerobic exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes, 6 days/week

Other Information:
I saw my mom suffer so severely from arthritis, both osteo and rheumatoid, and saw how her quality of life was taken from her. She did not choose a nutritional diet or exercise, and her inactivity and her choices deprived her and her family of many good and special times. I will not make these same choices. I cannot change my genetics but I can choose to be the very best I can be...I choose to run and play with my grandchildren, to take hikes to incredibly beautiful waterfalls and nature trails, to dive in spectacular beautiful waters, to travel, to be active and live life to the fullest! SparkPeople offers so many great tools and motivation...and the Spark members are so inspiring!

Hi there!!!!

Thank you for your sweet words. We have a lovely anniversary evening last night chilling out together in front of the telly.

Hubby was working until 8pm last night so I went out running with my local group. It was the first time since the New Year so I was a bit rusty but not as bad as I thought I would be. Phew!

I love that we are connected as friends! We had a great time in St. Augustine and are preparing for a move as I have taken a new position down here. It's really a beautiful area...

Hi Cath! Thank you for the lovely comments. I definitely agree with you about organ never really think about it until someone you know (or yourself) is affected tremendously by it. I admire your courage and motivation to be the best you can be for your family...all very handsome by the way. You are a beautiful lady with lots of years ahead of you...hope you guys had a nice time in St. Augustine. Keep up the great work!
