Each Day Is A New Beginning

I am trying to live each day "in the moment" and be mindful of how I am living my life. My goal is to become the most authentic, true version of myself that God created me to be.

This is my motivation text for July 2015:

This is my motivation text for July 2015:

Beyond Satisfaction

It’s great to be satisfied with what you’ve done. Be careful that your satisfaction doesn’t turn into complacency.

Satisfaction with what you’ve done builds confidence in what you can do. Yet that confidence will do you no good unless it is put to use.

See your satisfaction as a challenge and an opportunity rather than as a refuge. When you’re satisfied with what you’ve done, let it inspire you to do even more.

When you’ve created a valuable result, you’ve also established some powerful momentum. What a shame it would be to waste that momentum.

Seize the opportunity to exceed yourself, to build on what you’ve already accomplished. Extend the great feeling of satisfaction by going above and beyond the effort that originally brought that satisfaction.

Enjoy your satisfaction after a job well done. Then quickly challenge yourself to create a whole lot more.

Thank you so much for the goodie and your good wishes! Indeed my recovery is going well...so well that my doctor says I am doing better than people half my age. I am back to normal in every way and have resumed my gym membership...which I did the Monday after I was released from PT on Friday! As you may have seen, I quit work on March 17th before I had surgery. Now that I have done so, I can't see how I had time to work! I am taking art lessons on Monday afternoon, playing more challenging music on the piano, going to the gym three times per week, and doing work on my house. I have not gone away...one of these days I will be back, posting and boring everyone!!! LOL

Thanks so much for your words last month on my blog....you know, you made me think!!! We can do this and we shall.

Life is good and challenging, and hard, and sweet....but it is on our knees that we can get through it.

Blessings to you and yours!!! Where again are you in NC? We are on the coastal side....if you told me, I forgot
