I weighed in at 312 pounds in 2009 when I began my weight loss journey. After much struggle with loss due to medication issues, I dropped into the "overweight" category with my BMI, but not all of the loss was sustained. I am still fighting, determined to continue this struggle against gaining weight and in the process hoping to shed some more. As of Nov. 2014 I am now 90 pounds down from my highest weight! If I stumble along the way I will get back up and keep trying!

Good for you for getting that Tofurky! Remember, the price may go down after the holidays, so that's a good time to get one for next year. I'm going to freeze most of mine and have it for Christmas, too. They look small, but they make a lotta slices!

Some drugstore or grocery store pharmacies have special programs for those people who have trouble paying for their meds. Maybe you could check at all your pharmacies (even the mom and pop ones) and see what they can do. It's worth a shot! My particular pharmacy has prescription cards that offer a discount. Not all of the pharmacies do that so you really need to check all of them. Also having a 'heart-to-heart' talk with your pharmacist, especially at mom and pop shops, might lead to some extra help. Idk. It's worth a try!

You can get what they call 'Extra Help' with part D. That's how I'm able to afford my meds. See if you qualify!

Good morning, Doug!

That's really rough. Insurance won't help pay for the Abilify?
