Well here I am, another year has passed. I have been back on SP for 2 weeks now and things are going well.

Just keep running this play until I get it right.

Previous, Previous Update
I am updating my page per instructions from SparkCoach. I started my latest journey with SP on February 4, 2013. Although I have been losing SLOWLY, still I have lost 13 pounds. I am not in this as a race, I have learned to be content with eating better and exercising and feeling healthier. With that said, I do want to lose the last 12 pounds, so I continue......

PREVIOUS UPDATE
It is time to update my introduction! I first joined SP in January, 2009, but did not really get into it until July of 2009. I lost 23 pounds by the end of October that year. Unfortunately, I put my back out by raking leaves without pacing myself. (I guess 2 straight days of raking for 4-5 hours is not really good for you) Since that time 3 years ago I have managed to put back on the 20 pounds. My husband and I are retired and have been on several vacations. We love it, but I have managed to lose my motivation and have been making poor nutrition choices. I decided to do the South Beach diet because I know I can lose weight on this dies, and I know that I feel better avoiding the bad carbs. Today is February 4, 2013, the beginning of a new commitment for me.

I am in Eastham. Not very far at all. Yes I would dearly love to have a nearby Spark Buddy. I walk my dog some times at Thompson's Field. I lost 30 pounds on Spark but I never got to my goal weight and recently I have started to creep up and now I am 10 pounds over where I had left off. So I am a firm believer in the methods of the site and have recommitted to getting it done. Besides when I use the tools here I feel so great.

I see you use South Beach. How has it worked for you? I am thinking of either that or the Mediterranean diet. I know South Beach would be a great way to reboot. But I hate the idea of no fruit at all right at the start of strawberry season! I am mid 60's and would hate to miss a single strawberry season! HaHa. How is that for an excuse?

Hi Cate Are you still going strong? I am a Cape Codder too. Looks like our team is not very active. I'm looking for buddies for this journey we are on to get slim and fit.

I'm never too busy to give my friends and co-members some advice. We all started out new at one time, and I've been on here since the end of 2007!

Enjoy your SPAT! It does motivate a person, but I'm not obsessed with it like some of the people.

Hugs, Eve
