Busy Mom who is finally happy!

Update October 1, 2012-
I am 90 pounds down a feeling so positive!! My goal is to be 150 by my bday on Dec 15, 2012 and I feel I can do it. My program is sumed up in one word "CLEAN". I eat clean (non- process foods), I do daily activity (biking, walking, running, zumba. As well I am trying new things to keep things fun and interesting. SO far I have tried running (not great but I did it), hulla hooping, cave diving, boot camp, kick boxing, and trampoline.

Update October 1, 2012-

Update- I had a starting weight of 274 and as of August 2012 I am 194, that is 80 lbs down. I am super proud of myself and I am pushing to hit my goal of 150 pounds by my birthday Dec. 15. I know I can do this. My program is built out of reading a lot of weight loss books, blogs and newsletters, I eat only real food, no lite foods, no shakes, no pills. I do a lot of different activities to keep me moving forward.

I am a Mom of 4 with a part time job and no more excuses. I married my high school sweetheart and we both are blessed with Four beautiful busy kids. We have a 12 year old daughter and then three sons aged 11 , 8, and 6.
Sounds like everything is perfect so WHY AM I FAT?

The easy answer is I eat too much. The real answer is I have never loved myself. I have been the hardest on my looks, abilites, parenting, wife skills and every other aspect of my life.

My journey is about self discovery and an awakening of a beautiful, successful woman that has up until now locked herself in a fat prison.

I am a fun loving Canadian Redneck who is probably the cheapest or most frugle person you have ever met.

I started my journey on my birthday Dec. 15, 2011 and I plan by my next birthday to be dam close to my goal weight of 150 pounds. The biggest change I have been working on this how I think? I need to change all my negative ways and re-learn to enjoy my fantastic life.

Update August 1/ 2012- I am 195 and I am so happy to be in this new fantastic body. I have a lot more energy and I find I am no longer sore all the time. It's been an amazing 6 months and I could not have done this without Sparks people.

My Program:
Portion control of real foods, no diets or lite foods, I try to eat non processed foods. I drink at least 10 glasses of water a day.
I do not exercise!! I do things I like everyday that are active:
Biking, Zumba, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, gardening, baseball, soccer, bellydancing, yoga, hiking!

Personal Information:
I enjoy reading historical books, scrapbooking, gardening, socializing, camping and spending time with my four fantastic kids.

I found your page while doing a SparkCoach session. You were under the Motivational pages. You have lost so much weight in less than a year! That is amazing! You have inspired me to work harder on my weight loss journey! I never realized it was possible to lose so much in a year. I thought it would take SOOO much longer! Thanks for sharing your story!
