Hamming it up for the crowd before the race on Canada Day (July 1/07)
CASSIOEPIA is a SparkPeople Motivator!
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Hi Judy!!! I'm delighted Karen is doing so well. I'll try to remember to call her soon. How are you doing?
My foolish foot has been in traffic since June 14. I had surgery,,, than while in a cast I fell,,, should of called for help, but as usual know I can be determined. I got myself up,,, heard a crunch,,, became nausea,,headache,,, knew what that meant, yup broke my foot,,surgery area. In May 15, an ulcer developed. The surgeon who did the one a yr ago took out the plate, one screw. My ulcer quickly became worse. My regular foot Dr had been saying the screw left in was the problem. It opened badly,,,got infected. The surgeon refused to take out the screw insisting it had nothing to do with the ulcer.. my regular foot Dr took it out. Did test,,,screw was infected. Went through IV antibiotics at home 3weeks,,,very scary, stressful. Ended up doing the hyperbaric oxygen chamber for 6 weeks,,, Mon-Friday, 2 hrs each time. Hard casts at the same time,, until I think til Nov?? It's still open,, not infected thankfully. This means of course walking, swimming,,which with a friend we were doing 2 hrs,,, was,,is out. Currently waiting for shoes molded for my feet and hopefully I'll be ok!!! Can't wait to be very active again!!! This is driving me INSANE!!! I love walking,,,swimming.
Im fortunate to still.be a leader with MaryAnn. It's a very active team. A part of the 5% Challenge on the Spirited Under Dogs. I love helping to motivate others, which does me!! Other than the foot everything else is very well. Im doing exercises around this.
