Learning to Be Healthy
I've been here for almost three years now. In that time I've made a lot of progress in meeting my goals. My weight is at a healthy level, and I'm focused on creating a healthful diet and an active lifestyle that I can maintain forever! Since April '09 I've been here, trying to get a healthier diet and life. I continue to work on building healthy habits, cutting back on refined sugar, eating more fruits and vegetables, and creating a better daily diet for myself in general. I ...
I've been here for almost three years now. In that time I've made a lot of progress in meeting my goals. My weight is at a healthy level, and I'm focused on creating a healthful diet and an active lifestyle that I can maintain forever! Since April '09 I've been here, trying to get a healthier diet and life. I continue to work on building healthy habits, cutting back on refined sugar, eating more fruits and vegetables, and creating a better daily diet for myself in general. I try to exercise 3-4 times a week. My favorite activity is taking ballet classes, but I have a hard time getting to them these days. I also dabble with Wii games (EASA, DDR, Just Dance and Wii Fit), walking and jogging.

My Goals:
Improve my eating habits with healthier choices, including eating at least five servings of fruits and vegetables daily; decreasing the amount of refined sugar, white flour and sweets I consume; making time every week to exercise.
Other Information:
SP Goals for 2012: *Keep deficit at around 250-300 daily *Burn at least 1750 daily - minimal activity level for me *Keep sodium under 1800 *Work on reducing overall carb grams - not sure of a number to aim for but I feel better when my protein is a bit higher and my carbs are a bit lower. *Flax seed daily *8 glasses of water daily, not counting coffee *Check in daily on SP and keep up with SP friends for mutual support and encouragement
