Sorry it's taking me so long to post back, thanks for leaving a post on my page. That's cool you used to ride horses. I wish that was my horse in the photo, his name is Chico and he's a great pony. He belongs to one of the local summer camps but was staying at the farm I ride at for the winter. He wasn't getting enough exercise so I would take him trail riding now and then. I used to compete in eventing and hunter/jumper and train horses, but now I just trail ride. 2166 days ago
Yes, you absolutely CAN stay there when you get there. (Me too when I get there!)
Here's my two bits: life happens and we get to choose our reactions / responses. I know now how I added the 30 pounds I had lost. I let a new job, stress, and life squeeze out the things I know I need to do.
Also, I had lost the weight based on exercise alone. (I trained for & completed a full marathon in 2006.) When it was over, I had soft tissue damage which put me off exercise for 2 months. Then I DIDN'T have a plan for afterwards.
Now, I'm working hard on a balanced lifestyle of healthy eating & exercise. Yes, I'm pushing harder than I would if I were in maintenance, but that is to drop those unnecessary lbs. And I'm already beginning to think about what it will look like to "maintain". I WILL need a PLAN!
So hang in there! You WILL get there! ...And then you can make a plan to stay right where you want to be, God willing. (Health isn't a guarantee.)
As for the Iris, I did not grow these but I have had some as pretty as these. I love the Bearded Iris. They remind me of my Mom. She always had a flower garden. She passed away in 1970,so when I saw these I almost cried. I had to have them. Thanks for the comment & I am glad I could help some one to remember a good memory.
