Hi! I'm Alana, I have gained over 100 pounds in the last three years. I am trying to get my health on track, then hopefully the weight will follow! I just want to be healthy and feel normal again - and look good in a bathing suit.

MY short term goals are 2-3 lbs per week. I have been fairly consistent at 1 lb a week, so I need to kick it up a notch! I am planning on losing the weight with the TaiSlim Total Body System, working out at Physzique 3 or 4 times a week and cardio 1 to ...

January 2013 I will turn 31 and I will weigh less than 145, I will be less than 25% body fat and I will be able to run a 5k without walking or even thinking about it.

So do this...get the hotdog - just watch the condiments. If you get a pretzel, only eat one third of it and scrape most of the salt off. and Mikes ? Not sure what that is but if you count your calories carefully for your other meals, you should be okay at the ballgame. Plan ahead and you'll be good. :-)

As for me...I have a piano lesson after work then it'll be time to wash Ava (my lab mix puppy) and some of the neigborhood dogs. Yup. actually looking forward to that!

Thanks Alana! It has been such a good thing that I came back to my Spark Page on the day that I did after almost nearly a year and that was somehow the motivation I needed. I have made healthy choices each day since and am so excited to be moving in the right direction!

So honestly, the back isn't doing too well today, but I'm working it out. Haven't done my Shred since earlier this week, but I really want to do it this evening. I guess we'll see.
