It's a lifestyle not a diet, right...?

33, single, critical care nurse, trying to add some balance to my life and get motivated to do some of the active things I love to do, but never manage to get to. I cook, quilt, sew, read, and would love to spend a little more time hiking, kayaking and practicing yoga. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I would like to learn to love running, because everyone I know who runs loves it. I however do not.

Welcome to blogging!

It IS a lifestyle! I would highly recommend you find a running buddy! Having someone to talk to and keep you accountable will be an excellent way to introduce yourself to running.

Alternatively, join a running group - if you have "Running Room" stores, they're a great place to start. You can also look through community centers - sometimes they have training courses!
